On 7 May 2026, the shipyard in La Spezia handed over the 20th Riva 102' Corsaro Super to Charles Leclerc. The Monegasque Formula 1 driver is thus expanding his fleet after already owning a Riva 82' Diva. The ceremony took place in a small circle with the shipyard employees who were involved in the construction of the 30 metres. Alberto Galassi, CEO of the Ferretti Group, commented on the renewed collaboration with Leclerc as confirmation of the quality of the brand.

The 102' Corsaro Super develops the concept of the 100' Corsaro further and combines sporty lines with classic Riva elegance. The design comes from Officina Italiana, the studio of Mauro Micheli and Sergio Beretta, which has been working exclusively for Riva for over 30 years. The product development department headed by Piero Ferrari and the Ferretti Group design team were also involved. David Beckham drives Riva.

Charles Leclerc chose the door handles himself

On the flybridge there is a customised bar with XL grill, induction hob, two fridges and ice machine. The beach club extends over 35 square metres and offers direct access to the water. An inflatable platform for water toys completes the offer. Leclerc has had the outdoor areas furnished with furniture from Minotti and decorative cushions from Jim Thompson.

The interiors feature furniture and furnishings from Poliform. The Formula 1 driver personally selected details such as the door handles. Entertainment on board is provided by Bang & Olufsen audio-video systems. The textiles such as bed linen and towels come from Frette, while the crockery was supplied by Christofle. Polished Calacatta Vagli Oro marble gleams in the bathroom of the master suite, while Corian Calacatta Greige is used in the other bathrooms and on many surfaces.

At 28 knots to the next destination

Two MTU 16V 2000 engines, each with an output of 1,940 kilowatts, power the yacht and fulfil the EPA TIER III standard. Whilst the cruising speed is 24 knots, Charles Leclerc could speed into the next bay at up to 28 knots.

Several stabilisation systems ensure a comfortable ride. Hydrotab Interceptor trim tabs and Sleipner Vector fins work together with Seakeeper gyro stabilisers. This combination reduces rolling movements both at anchor and underway.

Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
