During the Cannes Yachting Festival, the new Majesty 100 Terrace and the multi-award-winning Majesty 120 took centre stage. The company from the United Arab Emirates also used Europe's largest yacht show as a stage for the presentation of the 112 Terrace project. Gulf Craft also announced investments in service and production to emphasise its long-term support for yacht owners.
The Majesty 100 Terrace brings a private bow terrace to the 30-metre class - a feature that is usually reserved for yachts over 42 metres. Developed in collaboration with Dutch design studio Phathom Studio, the 100 also features folding cockpit balconies and fully wraparound decks. These features redefine indoor-outdoor living in the 100-foot class. With five cabins, the yacht is suitable for both families and charter operations.
The new 112 Terrace concept was the model on board the 100 - a 34 metre long three-decker with flybridge, also designed by Phathom Studio. Six cabins for twelve guests are planned. 17,800 litres of fuel give the 185-tonner a considerable range. Hulls number one and two are already under construction.
"We have had a consistent presence here since 2010 as a non-European manufacturer competing and winning on Europe's main stage," said Erwin Bamps, Group CEO of Gulf Craft. Over the past five years, Europe has accounted for almost a quarter of Majesty's turnover, which is confirmed by the products and sustainable investments.
The plan for the future is to gradually introduce all Gulf Craft Group brands to the European market. For the coming year, Bamps announced the Majesty 112 Terrace and the introduction of the adventure yacht brand Nomad with the Nomad 101.
Gulf Craft is also showcasing new service and production facilities. "We are offering a first look at our Superyacht Service Centre in the UAE, which will become a regional hub offering comprehensive refit and repair facilities," explained Chairman Alshaali. Yachts up to 70 metres would be welcome here.
The company is also expanding its presence in the Maldives, including the "Gulf Lagoon" maritime centre with new production facilities for smaller service boats. In view of the increasing global demand for power cats, Gulf Craft is also expanding SilverCAT production with a new factory in the UAE.
Gulf Craft was founded in 1982 in the United Arab Emirates and was initially referred to in the media as the "shipyard in the desert". Today, the name stands for a global company that specialises in the design and production of composite superyachts as well as smaller yachts and boats.
To date, Gulf Craft has produced more than 10,000 watercraft for private and commercial owners, spread across the Majesty, Nomad, Oryx, SilverCAT and Touring Passenger Vessels brands. The product range extends from 32-foot dayboats to 175-foot superyachts.
