The exterior lines are striking and strong, contemporary design elements make the Dutch yacht an eye-catcher on the water. Horizontal lines emphasise the visual length of the project. There are also large areas of tinted glass on the main and upper decks. Her superstructure scores points with the characteristic "shark's tooth" motif on the wheelhouse overhang.
The slim design of the "Agnetha" by Heesen makes fashion plates superfluous, so that the aft superstructure is completely pillar-free. This improves the flow between the interior and exterior of the yacht and offers an unobstructed view of the sea from almost every vantage point on board. The absence of window bars in the main deck dining area emphasises the connection between Project "Agnetha" and her surroundings.
Beneath the surface, "Agnetha" by Heesen is a technical masterpiece. Her highly efficient and comfortable fast displacement hull, combined with two MTU engines (8V4000 M63 , IMO Tier III), enables a top speed of 15.5 knots. "Agnetha" can navigate safely in all conditions at sea, making her the epitome of a blue water motor yacht that can be used worldwide. Just like "Orion" from Heesen.
Mark Cavendish, Heesen CCO, comments: "The Heesen 55-metre Steel Class is constantly evolving and the 'Agnetha' project is the latest result. The beauty of buying a superyacht like this is that the yard takes care of all the technical aspects and perfects the platform by listening to feedback from brokers, owners and captains. When clients get into the project, they can enjoy the fun part of building a superyacht and focus on all the details that really make the yacht their own."
The Heesen project "Agnetha" offers space for twelve guests in six suites, including a spacious owner's cabin on the forward main deck with separate dressing rooms and bathrooms and a veranda on the starboard side. Four guest cabins are located on the lower deck and a VIP suite on the bridge deck. This carefully planned layout makes the Heesen 55-metre class perfect for charter and clients.
The interior design, created by Luca Dini Design and Architecture, focuses on an ambience that radiates warmth and hospitality. Warm colours surround guests with a feeling of comfort and familiarity. This makes the "Agnetha" project the ideal retreat for those who like to spend long periods of time on their yachts.
Niels Vaessen, CEO of Heesen Yachts: "The 55-metre Steel Class is the best example of how to build intelligent superyachts. Over the last ten years, we have focussed on and achieved top performance. To this end, we have further developed and refined the platform. At the same time, we have optimised our supply chain and established strategic partnerships with suppliers. This approach means that we can offer our customers special benefits: shorter delivery times, extensive personalisation and, of course, Dutch craftsmanship at the highest level."
Heesen has long been at the forefront of innovation in superyacht construction. As pioneers in the field of speculative construction projects, they began the journey in the early 2000s with the 37-metre series and later with the 44-, 47- and 50-metre yachts. "Today, we are the global leader in the 50 to 57 metre yacht segment," Vaessen continues. Heesen could deliver "Agnetha" from the second quarter of 2025.
