The figures sound great, and shipyard boss Marco Valle is blowing the industry away with his successes: Turnover in 2023/2024: 1.3 billion euros, order volume: 2.6 billion euros, forecast growth in the coming season: 15 per cent. In addition, there is an investment plan of 160 million euros to launch the most important projects for the period 2025 to 2027.
Benetti is focusing heavily on sustainability, with new e-systems designed to reduce fuel consumption by up to 20 per cent. The Group currently has the broadest hybrid range on the market: 90 per cent of the models can be ordered as hybrid or diesel-electric versions. Energy consumption is also to be reduced: the optimisation of electrical loads, heat recovery systems and the use of air conditioning technology with direct evaporation reduce on-board consumption by up to 40 percent.
The Group uses HVO biofuel for all shipyard operations, reducing CO2 emissions by 1,000 tonnes per year. If HVO, which is compatible with the entire Benetti product range, is used as fuel on board, this can reduce emissions by up to 90 per cent.
The shipyard also equips yachts under 500 GT with SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) catalytic converters as standard, even though this is not required by law in this category. According to Benetti, this decision reduces NOx emissions by 2.5 tonnes per yacht per year, and these yachts are also permitted to sail in marine protected areas.
The new launches include the B.Yond 40M and 57M, the Motopanfilo 45M and the spectacular start to the B.Loft series. The Cassetta design brings a new, ultra-modern living experience to the mega yacht. One example is the cabana on the main deck, which redefines the concept of the beach club. This space, a kind of semi-open pavilion, offers a 270-degree view and, thanks to the glass-bottom pool on the aft deck above, beautiful light from above. Thanks to fold-out bulwarks, there is plenty of flexible space around it. The club has a total area of 120 square metres.
Benetti's B.Loft combines two in one: the volume of a villa and the brightness of a loft - the generously glazed salons and suites have four! metre high ceilings, even on the upper deck. Twelve guests can enjoy this ambience, spread over six suites. A crew of 13 looks after their well-being.
