Bering Yachts has signed the contract for the second Bering 165, the buyer is from Singapore. The first unit went on sale in January 2026 and the keel was laid on 30 March. The keel for the second unit is to be laid in the coming weeks. The Bering 165 measures 50 metres long by 9 metres wide and has a gross register tonnage of 499 tonnes.
The five-deck layout was created in collaboration with Valentin Design. The robust steel hull forms the basis for longer journeys, even in adverse conditions. "This is already the second hull sold in 2026 and we are very excited to see both yachts on the water," commented the Valentin Design team. Job for the number one.
The 165 was designed as an entertainment platform according to the owner's wishes. The aft deck offers a pool with an area of over 20 square metres. Two whirlpools complete the offer - one integrated into the pool, the second on the foredeck. The special feature is the floor, which can be raised and lowered. In the raised position, a large open-air dance floor is created.
To get the party guests going, a sound system with a karaoke system is of course a must. It is also a must that the tenders and water toys disappear into the large garage on the lower deck for the pool events. The day after the party, it's off to the fitness room with a panoramic view of the sea.
Despite its focus on entertainment, the Bering 165 retains its explorer characteristics, with a range in excess of 5,000 nautical miles. Extensive storage capacity and complete self-sufficiency for longer periods at sea are guaranteed.
"We are proud to see that the Bering 165 is already proving to be one of the strongest explorer yachts in the under 500 gross tonne class, just as we envisioned," said the Bering Superyacht division team. The second contract in a short space of time confirms that the model has been well received by customers looking for both long-range capability and an exceptional lifestyle on board.
Bering Yachts designs and builds semi-custom explorer and trawler yachts with steel hulls in sizes from 20 to 50 metres, as well as aluminium cats. The shipyard employs over 200 skilled workers at its shipyard in Antalya, Turkey.
