On 23 February, the "Legacy 4" was launched at Codecasa Ugo Shipyards in Viareggio. The 57-metre-long yacht bears the hull number F81 and combines a steel hull with an aluminium superstructure. The shipyard thus promises stability and comfort even during demanding crossings. The ship is the result of a collaboration between Codecasa Shipyards and designer Tommaso Spadolini.
Two Caterpillar 3512E engines power the "Legacy 4". Each engine produces 1,771 kilowatts, which corresponds to 2,375 hp at 1,800 revolutions per minute. This enables the yacht to reach a top speed of 17 knots with a slight displacement. At a cruising speed of twelve knots, the range is 5,000 nautical miles, i.e. transatlantic! 200 years of Codecasa.
Lloyd's Register EMEA has certified the Codecasa in accordance with ✠ 100 A1, SSC "YACHT" MONO G6 - ✠ LMC + UMS. The yacht also fully fulfils the requirements of the Red Ensign Group Yacht Code - Part A. The classification confirms its suitability for worldwide use under various conditions.
The owners sleep in the owner's suite, with a further ten guests in five large cabins. There is also a captain's cabin and six twin cabins for the crew. This layout is designed to ensure efficient and discreet service, as the arrangement of the rooms clearly separates the areas for the owner, guests and crew. The lift provides barrier-free access to all levels.
