New build: 123-metre ‘Elusive’ project under construction at Lürssen

Moran Yacht & Ship has announced the sale of Project “Elusive”, a 122.5-metre superyacht currently under construction at Lürssen in Bremen. Delivery is scheduled for 2030. The project marks the continuation of a long-standing partnership between the American brokerage firm and the German shipyard, which has just announced record deliveries. Joint projects to date include the 142-metre-long “North”, the 122-metre-long “Kismet”, the 115-metre-long “Ahpo”, the 111-metre-long “Tis” and the 95-metre-long “CC-Summer”. Added to this is the 107-metre-long yacht built by Oceanco “Black Pearl”.

The “Elusive” project is designed with a gross tonnage of 5,500 GT and can accommodate up to 22 guests in eleven cabins. The vessel is 16.8 metres wide and has a draught of 4.4 metres. The hull will be constructed from steel.

Construction supervision by an experienced team

Moran Yacht & Ship is responsible for the entire construction supervision process, from the signing of the contract through to handover. Sean Moran heads the team, which includes Robert Millar, Simon England, Lars Windhorst, Ludger Dohm, Charlotte Southon, Travis Motta and Rory Moran. Their responsibilities include reviewing the ship’s architecture, developing the technical specifications, fitting out the vessel, commissioning and conducting sea trials.

The names of the interior and exterior designers are not being disclosed at present. Further details on the “Elusive” project are to be released as construction progresses, according to Moran Yacht & Ship.
