The Dutch shipyard launched its latest superyacht with the construction number Y726 on 14 June 2025. With a length of 111 metres and a beam of 16 metres, the Y726 is one of the largest yachts ever built by Oceanco. The project was commissioned in 2022 by an experienced and well-known customer. See Transfer of a 111 metre yacht.
The focus was on a family-orientated design that can be enjoyed together with all family members. This concept runs like a common thread through the Y726 project and will continue to be pursued in the coming months.
The exterior lines were designed by Espen Øino International and the interior by Mark Berryman Design. The design was developed by Lateral together with Oceanco's in-house team and the owner's long-standing yacht representative, Dan Jackson. With 4,550 gross registered tonnes, the Y726 offers a generous amount of space for a yacht of this size.
Lee Archer, Programme Director at Lateral, highlights the technical aspects: "This project is the result of bold design ambition and solid engineering. Working closely with Oceanco and the project's design partners, the Y726 not only represents engineering design at its best, but also the power of collaboration as a catalyst for excellence."
Oceanco's project manager Edske Smit is optimistic about the future: "From the very beginning, the Y726 has benefited from a co-operative, trusting and positive spirit. She will be an outstanding addition to the Oceanco fleet. We are grateful for the strong partnerships that have brought this vision to life."
The Oceanco Y726 is now in the final phase before delivery, which is scheduled for this year. Extensive test drives are scheduled for the coming months.
