The "Palm Beach Vitruvius" from Vitruvius Yachts is particularly suitable for the Bahamas and comes with a beach club

Vitruvius Yachts releases project MY147 - a 46-metre yacht that is designed to be particularly Bahamas-friendly thanks to its shallow draft of just two metres. With the "Palm Beach Vitruvius", the studio led by founder Philippe Briand and based in London and La Rochelle, France, wants to make greater inroads into the US superyacht market. To achieve this, the design not only had to lie flat on the water, but also boast a volume of just under 500 gross tonnes and spacious exterior decks.

Added to this is a range of more than 4000 nautical miles and a hull with the efficiency values for which the sailing yacht designer is celebrated. With any luck, the MY147 project will continue the Vitruvius success story of the 66 metre long "Alchemy" continued. Worth Avenue Yachts is responsible for marketing the "Palm Beach". As luck would have it, the brokers operate from a city on the Florida coast that bears the same name as the product they are marketing.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
