Pearl Yachts presents the Pearl 100 Hybrid, a 30-metre model that is the first in the fleet to be equipped with hybrid propulsion. The new flagship combines environmentally conscious cruising with high performance.

Pearl Yachts is expanding its portfolio with its most ambitious yacht to date. The new Pearl 100 Hybrid marks a milestone for the shipyard with headquarters in England and shipyards in Hong Kong, as it is the first model with hybrid propulsion. With a length of 30 metres, the Raised Pilothouse (RPH) yacht also positions itself as a new flagship. Test drive on the Pearl 82.

The exterior lines of the Pearl 100 were designed by Bill Dixon, who, in his own words, focussed on "practical use and efficient performance". As is usual with Pearl Yachts, the flybridge takes centre stage as a living space. Kelly Hoppen Interiors was responsible for the interior design.

Hybrid technology for sustainable performance

The Pearl 100 is powered by an E-Motion hybrid system coupled with two MAN V12 2000 hp engines. The combination of traditional propulsion and electric technology significantly reduces fuel consumption, and the system offers various operating modes: zero-emission driving, electric manoeuvring and strong diesel power at sea - at speeds of up to 24 knots.

Thanks to the E-Motion Power Pack, the Pearl 100 can be operated overnight without running generators. Bill Dixon says: "With the 100, we have pushed the boundaries further than ever before. The hybrid system enables low-speed cruising without the use of main engines and quiet operation at anchor."

Layout with superyacht character

The owner's suite on board the Pearl 100 extends across the entire width of the main deck and has access to a private bow terrace. A second master suite is located amidships on the lower deck and is accompanied by a VIP cabin and two double cabins for guests. From the crew accommodation, with two cabins and crew mess, there is a direct route to all areas of the yacht.

But the flybridge, with its different zones for every time of day, is where the owner's family spends the day. It is equipped with Technogym equipment, a jacuzzi, dining table and sun loungers - all covered by a hardtop with sliding roof.

British design from Pearl Yachts

The main salon welcomes guests with panoramic views and side patio doors. Here, the interior by British design icon Kelly Hoppen CBE takes centre stage. Owners can choose between three curated designs: Indulgence, Modern and Monochrome. Shiny chrome details and strong contrasts emphasise special features of the design here and there.

Kelly Hoppen: "To encourage a connection with nature, we chose materials with a strong texture. We wanted to create a tactile experience that brings the calm and feeling of nature directly into the interior spaces. Every corner is designed to evoke serenity."

Practical details for everyday life

There is plenty of storage space on board, especially the garage with room for a Williams Dieseljet 445 tender, a Sea-Doo Spark, several SeaBobs and various water toys.

As with every new model from Pearl Yachts, the Pearl 100 comes with a comprehensive five-year warranty. According to the shipyard, this is the best proof of the brand's confidence in its build quality.

Conclusion from the shipyard boss

"The Pearl 100 Hybrid marks a pivotal moment for Pearl Yachts," says Iain Smallridge, Founder and Managing Director of Pearl Yachts. "As our first hybrid model and our largest to date, it epitomises our vision of what the future of yachting should look like: elegant, liveable, efficient and sustainable. We are proud to offer our owners the opportunity to cruise cleaner, quieter and further without compromising on luxury or performance."

The boutique shipyard can build one to 1.5 units of the 100 Hybrid per year. The launch of the number one is planned for summer 2026.
