The Italian shipyard Codecasa celebrated the launch of its latest creation "Pleiades" in Viareggio. As the latest member of the Codecasa Classic Yacht 110' series, she embodies the symbiosis of timeless elegance and cutting-edge technology. The ship is the result of a close collaboration between designer Luca Dini, who is responsible for the classic lines, and Francesco Rogantin's Names Studio, which developed the hull in co-operation with Codecasa.
The "Pleiades" is powered by two MAN V12 engines, each with 1550 hp at 2300 rpm. The maximum speed is 21 knots. The enormous range is particularly noteworthy: at a cruising speed of 12 knots, the "Pleiades" can cover over 1200 nautical miles, which enables long journeys without stopping.
Inside the "Pleiades", guests can expect maximum comfort and elegance. The layout is well thought-out and spacious, with an elegant saloon on the main deck and a further lounge area on the bridge deck. Guests are accommodated in a spacious owner's cabin and four additional guest cabins. Two double cabins and a separate captain's cabin are available for the crew. This layout ensures both privacy and sufficient space for socialising.
The collaboration between Codecasa and Francesco Rogantin's Names Studio has resulted in a hull design that is not only aesthetically pleasing, but also has excellent hydrodynamic properties. This contributes significantly to the yacht's performance data. The integration of state-of-the-art navigation systems and stabilisers also ensures maximum safety and comfort, even in demanding sea conditions.
