The 86-metre yacht takes a different approach to the 82-metre model. Each deck of the Amarcord 86 is designed for different times of day and activities. The design was created by Studio Nuvolari Lenard, who focused on generous glass surfaces, openings in the hull and a visual connection between the decks. The silhouette features a striking hull with softer, flowing superstructures.
Glass lift
At the stern of the ISA Yachts Amarcord 86, a permanently fitted bathing platform creates the first living area with direct access to the water. Two fold-out balconies further extend the space. When the large hatch to the beach club is open, guests will find a massage room and a gym with sea views.
A glazed corridor leads through the engine room and on into the wellness area. This design transforms the yacht’s technical heart – normally hidden from view – into an integral part of life on board. A circular staircase surrounds a glass lift and leads through all decks. Amidships, another fold-out hatch provides a second access point from the water.
ISA Yachts Amarcord 86 with a private owner’s deck
On the main deck, a panoramic pool with a glass floor runs the length of the cockpit. Alongside the saloon, this deck houses the guest accommodation, comprising five suites, including one VIP suite. The owners reside one deck higher; their realm on the upper deck measures over 100 square metres and is designed as a private residence on the water.
Towards the bow on the upper deck is a jacuzzi, flanked by two lounge areas. From there, one can watch the touch-and-go operations of medium-sized helicopters. The captain works and spends the night on the bridge deck, where he has his own suite. Aft, another dining area opens out onto a large outdoor lounge with a central fire pit.
From the pool to the barbecue area
At the front is another pool with sun loungers, whilst comfortable sofas mean you can enjoy the sun deck all day long. Snacks for hungry guests are served from the covered bar with its teppanyaki grill.
With this second project, the ISA Large Yacht Collection showcases a design platform for creative solutions – not a range of predefined models. The collection draws on Palumbo Superyachts’ experience in the large yacht segment. The shipyard is currently building ISA projects up to 100 metres and has gained a wealth of expertise in this area through the Columbus Classic “Dragon” (80m).
