The yacht name "Sagasu" is of Japanese origin and symbolises the philosophy behind the project: the exploration and discovery of new horizons. The 48 metres offer the volume of larger yachts, but remain under the 500 GT limit.
Under the direction of Richard Partington, creative director at Hydro Tec, a razor-sharp crack was created. The layouts can be designed flexibly, with the focus on the owner's area with a 70 square metre terrace with whirlpool and lounge. Separate walkways ensure the privacy of the guests. Hydro Tec was founded in 1995 by Sergio Cutolo, who previously worked as a naval architect at some of the world's leading shipyards. Since the early 2000s, the company has focussed on design and, according to its own statements, is now one of the few companies in the world to offer a holistic design package. Hydro Tec itself describes its working philosophy as "creative naval architecture": "Creativity means working proactively with designers and architects to always find the best technical solutions while maximising imagination and style," it says on its website.
