The model continues the successful SD line and is clearly going to be another bestseller: five units had already been sold before the launch of the number one. The features include XL open-plan areas and an enormous living space, because with a volume of 420 gross tonnes, the SD132 easily outclasses the competition.
The large beach club with its seamless connection to the aft cockpit is also top of the range. Here, guests are amazed by the mobile terraces, which extend the area to 70 square metres. There is also a Giga-Flydeck with 85 square metres and a mini-pool plus sun lounger.
Zuccon International Project designed the exterior lines and focused on asymmetry - a speciality of the shipyard. On the Sanlorenzo SD132, the side deck of the Beletage is on the port side, while the side deck is one level higher on the starboard side. This balances out the weight distribution and optimises the volumes.
The SD has four guest cabins on the lower deck, while the spacious owner's suite with 55 square metres including a work corner is located in the forward part of the main deck. From there, it is just a few steps to the large saloon with its generous windows.
Studio Zuccon International Project was also used for the interior of the SD 132: "The materials and the colours inspired by earth tones create authentic and inviting environments," says Bernardo Zuccon. Various surfaces complement each other in the rooms: soft fabrics, stone-like cement or a mix of dark and light-coloured woods. The shipyard focussed on sustainability when making its selection.
Parking de luxe: The 6.25 metre long tender is waiting to be used in the side garage in the bow. An adjoining hangar serves as a shelter for water toys or a lifeboat.
The SD132 continues the Sanlorenzo tradition of semi-displacement vessels. They are designed for a long range to reach even the most remote destinations. This fits well, as the new yacht offers a range of 3,200 miles. A top speed of 17 knots is planned.
