SHE is an abbreviation for Sanlorenzo Heritage and is set to encompass a whole range of retro classics. The series has now been launched with a 25.50-metre-long and 6.50-metre-wide model, which was launched in Ameglia. With this series, the Italian shipyard is drawing inspiration from the proportions of classic Navetta yachts from the 1960s. Sanlorenzo combines the clean lines of Zuccon International Project with modern propulsion technology and a contemporary layout. Five vessels had already been sold prior to the official launch.
The interior design was entrusted to Sanlorenzo’s art director, Piero Lissoni, and his studio, Lissoni & Partners. Here are some visualisations of the interiors. On this retro cruiser, guests are set to experience a seamless transition between indoor and outdoor areas, with the interior spaces designed to place life on board at the centre of attention. According to the shipyard, it has deliberately avoided over-the-top fittings and is focusing on functional elements.
SHE is the first Sanlorenzo yacht to be fitted with Volvo Penta’s IPS hybrid system. This system combines inboard diesel engines with electric motors integrated into the IPS drive pods. The pods are mounted beneath the hull and can be swivelled, which improves manoeuvrability. In hybrid mode, the electric motors can be used for quiet operation at low speeds, whilst the combustion engines are used at higher speeds or to charge the batteries.
Sanlorenzo describes the concept as “Tomorrow’s Timeless” – a combination of enduring design, craftsmanship and purpose-built technology. The shipyard is thus targeting owners who value substance over short-lived trends. Massimo Perotti, Executive Chairman of Sanlorenzo, explains that the SHE demonstrates how traditional ideas remain relevant through deliberate reinterpretation. The classic Navetta silhouette is complemented by modern technology without losing its fundamental characteristics.
SHE complements the Sanlorenzo portfolio, which comprises yachts ranging from 24 to 74 metres in length. The shipyard builds yachts using both composite and metal construction methods and operates six production facilities in Italy. The group also includes Bluegame for boats under 24 metres and the Nautor Swan brand – acquired in 2024 – for sailing yachts and sporty motor yachts. The SHE’s world premiere will take place from 8 to 13 September 2026 at the Cannes Yachting Festival.
