"Seawolf X": The sports car look of the Rossinavi cat was created by Fulvio De Simoni
Rossinavi presents the "Seawolf X", a 43 metre long catamaran that follows an energy-saving philosophy

The almost 43 metre long catamaran "Seawolf X" was designed by Studio Fulvio De Simoni, while the New York-based Meyer Davis Studio created the interior. The aluminium twin-hull proudly bears the brand's BluE label, which is based on an energy-saving philosophy. There are three scenarios for the hybrid-electric drive: On day trips, the cat cruises fully electrically, on multi-day cruises the e-mode can run 90 per cent of the time, and on transatlantic voyages it can still run 80 per cent of the time. The batteries are primarily powered by solar panels, while diesel generators can also be used to top up the energy stores. With shore power, the process takes around five hours.

When "Seawolf X" is in harbour, hibernation mode kicks in, consumption is reduced to the essentials and the energy generated is sufficient to supply the owner's villa, for example. The Rossinavi AI, an intelligent on-board system, analyses the operation, predicts the guests' usage behaviour and gives the crew tips on sustainable operation.

Uske was born just outside Volkswagen in 1970 and tested various small boats with sails through her boyfriend (now husband 😊) on a quarry pond. Her studies in Kiel took her to the Baltic Sea with boats of all kinds and eventually to a regatta from Hong Kong to Mauritius via the Academic Sailing Club. Her teacher training ended at the Burda School of Journalism in Munich instead of in the classroom and finally at Boote Exclusiv. After a long break and various stories about house building, she returned to Delius Klasing and has been filling the magazine with long stories about large ships ever since. A family-owned H-boat was quickly sold again as the mother realized that sailing with two small children was neither relaxing nor fun.
