French basketball star Tony Parker shows his passion for yachts: The point guard opted for an Explorer from AvA Yachts. What he uses his new boat for

As one of the few athletes with a passion for yachting, Tony Parker opted for an Explorer, which AvA Yachts completed in Antalya in 2022. The basketball player grew up on the Normandy coast and sailed in an Opti - in which he would hardly have had any size problems.

Parker wants to dive

At 1.85 metres, he is one of the shorter players. As a point guard, the Frenchman played for the San Antonio Spurs from 2001 to 2018, with whom he won four NBA championships. He was in a relationship with Texan actress Eva Longoria ("Desperate Housewives") for four years. Parker uses "Infinity Nine" as a diving centre, among other things. He charters out his Explorer from 120,000 euros per week.

About Tony Parker

Parker is one of the most important French basketball players of all time. Born in Belgium, he has achieved great success during his career both in Europe and in the NBA. He began his professional career with the French club Paris Basket Racing before being drafted into the NBA by the San Antonio Spurs in 2001. There he quickly developed into one of the best point guards in the league and won a total of four NBA championships with the Spurs.

Parker has also proven his class at international level. He led the French national team to several successes, including winning the 2013 European Championship. Parker has also been honoured as Europe's best player several times and is a member of the FIBA Hall of Fame. Away from basketball, Parker is also known as an entrepreneur and philanthropist. He has founded several business enterprises and is committed to charitable causes.
