Great spectacle at the Wider Vision Hub. In Fano, Italy, the second double hull with a length of 28 metres glided into the sea. In addition to hybrid drive, the space miracle scores with a design by Luca Dini.

Like the first cat of the new 28-metre multihull series, which was launched in January, the latest unit has a hybrid propulsion system. And once again, the interior and exterior design was created by Luca Dini Design & Architecture together with Wider Centro Stile - the details customised for the owner, whose wife was closely involved in the selection of the interior furnishings and décor. The captain also had his hands full: He supervised the entire construction process on behalf of the owner.

"Atali" accommodates its guests in four cabins. The master suite with two bathrooms is located on the forward main deck, along with a private lounge. Three spacious cabins are located one floor below, where the crew also have their own space. Cooking is also done down here, and there is a pantry on the main deck for snacks and drinks, complete with fridge, dishwasher and storage space.

New Wider comes with beach club and garage bar

Thanks to the XL windows, the rooms are very bright. To top off this effect, the owners opted for light colours for the interior of their WiderCat 92. Natural materials, soft fabrics and leather in earthy tones make the interior cosy.

It is also inviting outside: guests can relax on sun loungers on the bridge deck or chill out in the skylounge with height-adjustable table. For dinner, the family sits outside on the open aft terrace at a large table with an integrated teppanyaki-style grill.

For a drink afterwards, head to the bar in the garage. Once the jet skis and the tender have been put away or are in the water, the room becomes an integral part of the beach club, which offers 67 square metres of space for parties or sunbathing when the bulwarks are folded out.

The WiderCat 92 also runs fully electrically

The hybrid propulsion system works with two electric motors, each delivering 500 kilowatts to the thrusters, and two 349-kilowatt variable-speed generators for electrical power generation. This enables sailing in ZEM (Zero Emission Mode) with a range of 27 nautical miles at six knots in complete silence or 14 hours of autonomy on battery power at anchor. On bright, sunny days, the 75 square metre solar panels can fully power the WiderCat 92 at anchor.

"In addition to its innovative technology and masterful design, this second launch shows that the WiderCat 92's spacious and flexible platform allows owners to customise the yacht to their needs," says Marcello Maggi, head of the holding company W-Fin Sarl, which includes Wider.

While the "Atali" is still being fitted out, three more units in the series are currently being built at the Wider Vision Hub in Fano.
