"M" stands for "Medium": The 4.60 m long Buster M is in the middle of the shipyard programme in terms of size. | s.
The Finnish shipyard Buster builds lightweight all-purpose boats from aluminium. The medium-sized Buster M model is already in its third edition this year.

Bestsellers are reissued over and over again. The sales success of the Buster M has now helped the 300 kg lightweight aluminium glider from Finland into its third generation. What's new? According to the shipyard, particular emphasis was placed on the helm station and the arrangement of the instruments. The result is a better ergonomic arrangement and additional protection from the wind thanks to the windscreen, which is closed on three sides.

Otherwise, the focus is still on absolute practicality; as much space as possible over a length of 4.60 metres (five people are permitted), storage space and robust handrails along both sides are typical of all Buster models. The range of uses is versatile, from quick transport to water skiing and fishing to swimming (thanks to the folding bathing ladder at the stern, even if you have to do without the padded sunbed for drying off).

Another advantage of the Buster M is its high mobility: thanks to its low weight, the boat can be transported on an unbraked trailer. It is powered by an outboard motor with a maximum of 40 hp, but it should not be less than 30.

Christian Tiedt was born in Hamburg in 1975, but grew up in the northern suburbs of the city - except for numerous visits to the harbor, North Sea and Baltic Sea, but without direct access to water sports for a long time. His first adventures then took place on dry land: With the classics from Chichester, Slocum and Co. After completing his vocational training, his studies finally gave him the opportunity (in terms of time) to get active on the water - and to obtain the relevant licenses. First with cruising and then, when he joined BOOTE in 2004, with motorboats of all kinds. In the meantime, Christian has been able to get to know almost all of Europe (and some more distant destinations) on his own keel and prefers to share his adventures and experiences as head of the travel department for YACHT and BOOTE in cruise reports.
