Together with the charter company Locaboat, Linssen developed a new type of houseboat based on a steel displacement vessel last year: the Pénichette Evolution.
The new product from the Dutch shipyard is now also available as a regular model with the series designation Dutch Sturdy 310, and one is already in charter operation.
The Finnish company Saimaacharter, whose base is in Savonlinna on the extensive Saimaa lake system in the south of the country, has been offering a DS 310 since the start of the season.
A generator powers the electric drive, bow and stern thrusters, as well as the rest of the on-board system - even appliances such as the induction cooker or microwave work at all times.
The cosy two-cabin boat (two berths each) is steered classically or conveniently using a joystick. The weekly prices are between 2250 and 3690 euros.
