If you like fast boats and stylish designs, you'll love this new clamp-on kit: The Brabus Shadow 1500 XC Cross Cabin is now available as a model - and it's pretty impressive.

With around 1,900 parts and a length of just under 45 cm, the result is a real showpiece that perfectly captures the typical Brabus line. Even at first glance you realise: There is a love of detail here. The roof can be removed, the doors open, and in the cockpit you will find all the instruments and elements of the original, from the steering position to the seats, everything has been modelled and reproduced as accurately as possible. Even the typical ventilation slots, the step hull and the distinctive lines of the hull shape are recognisable. So if you like building, you can really immerse yourself in the miniature version of a real boat. The Mercury engines with Brabus lettering have also been reproduced.

A toy for adults?

It's clear that anyone who enjoys building, loves modelling or has a soft spot for fast boats will be happy here. It is definitely not a children's building set, but rather a project for adults or ambitious teens who have patience and enthusiasm for small details.

The end result is a real highlight on the shelf: a model that is not only visually impressive, but also a talking point. It should delight boat and Brabus fans just as much as it will delight brick lovers. And let's be honest: who hasn't always wanted to own their own Brabus mini boat?

The Mini-Shadow 1500 is also much more affordable in terms of price. It costs 99.95 euros. For those who say they would rather save on the big boat, this is already 0.00686 per cent of the starting price of the normal Brabus Shadow 1500 XC Cross Cabin.

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
