When two brands that stand for pure performance and fun join forces, you can be excited. This is exactly what is now happening on the water: Swedish e-surfboard manufacturer Awake and German tuning icon BRABUS are joining forces to launch the BRABUS x Awake Limited Edition Shadow Jetboard "One of 77".

Awake - founded in Sweden - has established itself as one of the most exciting players in the electric surfboard sector in recent years. Their vision: to combine the thrill of speed and freedom with sustainable drive technology. Their carbon fibre boards are light, powerful and technically groundbreaking - just the right toy for adrenaline junkies and water lovers.

Brabus, on the other hand, is primarily known from the road. Since 1977, the name has stood for high-performance customisation, from Mercedes-Benz to supercars and Axopar yachts. With Brabus Marine, the brand has long since conquered the world of boats - and now also that of jetboards.

The result: an electric surfboard that not only delivers brute power, but also bears the unmistakable "Black and Bold" design of BRABUS. With a top speed of over 55 km/h and a Brabus mode that catapults from 0 to 50 km/h in just three seconds, the kick is guaranteed. Large carbon fins ensure stability, while the smart deck design offers both beginners and professionals the freedom to let off steam - whether cruising, carving or performing tricks.

And because true exclusivity is simply part and parcel of Brabus, the edition is strictly limited: Only 77 units will be built and sold worldwide. A real collector's item for all those who are looking for the extraordinary - and want to conquer the waves with style and power.

Technical data:

  • Max. speed: 55+ km/h

  • Width: 73 cm
  • Height: 21 cm
  • Material: Carbon fibre
  • Board volume: 121 l

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
