Cooking pasta quickly is also possible at sea. When draining, the Westmark colander can help to avoid tipping pasta into the sink and scalding your fingers despite the movement of the boat. It is placed on the pot instead of the lid and keeps the pasta (or vegetables) in the pot when draining. This simple helper is made of stainless steel and takes up very little storage space in the cupboard thanks to its flat shape. For pots up to 26 centimetres in diameter. Price: 18 euros.

With the cordless hand blender, KitchenAid has the perfect kitchen appliance on board: it is powered by a rechargeable battery and takes up very little storage space. In addition to the rechargeable battery and USB-C cable, various attachments are included, such as a blender jug, whisk, chopper with blade and bowl, blender jug with lid and a bowl guard. The 12-volt battery is removable and can also be replaced. A fully charged battery should provide 30 minutes of blending time. The entire set weighs 2.6 kilograms. The hand blender is available individually for 90 euros and as a set with the accessories mentioned for 154 euros.
