Two products for crews who prioritise space, flexibility and ease of use when cooking: a splash-proof electric grill for use on deck and a compact sandwich toaster designed to handle several tasks at once in the galley.

A toaster and frying pan in one

The RidgeMonkey Connect Sandwich Toaster consists of two aluminium pans connected by a detachable hinge. The non-stick coating makes the set durable and versatile, suitable for use with toast, omelettes or wraps, for example. The magnetic handles can be easily removed for storage. The square cookware saves space and, thanks to its separable design, can also replace a frying pan in the galley. Heat-resistant cutlery is also included, which can be stored directly inside the toaster. Price: 40 euros. Further information: amazon.de

With the Alize Gastro Grill, GN Espace is launching an electric grill which, thanks to its IPX5 protection rating, is fully protected against water jets and is ideal for use on deck. The 2,000-watt appliance runs on 230-volt alternating current. The housing is made of saltwater-resistant V4A stainless steel, whilst the plug and cable are completely waterproof to IP67 standard. A removable aluminium plate serves as the cooking surface. The temperature is infinitely adjustable, and a residual current device (RCD) provides protection. It can also be mounted on the stern basket. Price: 3,300 euros. Further information: gn-espace.com
