Corkmood from Sace Components brings customised cork panels on board: the waterproof, easy-care surfaces improve acoustics and air quality and set stylish accents with a variety of 3D patterns.

With Corkmood, Sace Components supplies ready-made panels based on FSC-certified cork and polyurethane. The company, based in Fermo, Italy, has its sights set not only on villas but also on the suites and lounges of floating residences. Thanks to CNC cutters, individual elements measuring a maximum of three by one metre are created, which are simply glued to the substrate.

Cork panels available in many patterns

In the end, they beautify the room, improve the air quality and absorb sound - which means more peace and quiet on board. Customers have a wide choice of patterns. There are fine or wider stripes, the multi-layer modules show three-dimensional diamonds or waves. Corkmood Chromatic is aimed in particular at the exterior areas of yachts, as the surfaces are waterproof. The crew can clean it quickly with a damp sponge.
