Live image of the traffic situation: The Uelzen Waterways and Shipping Authority has now also equipped its locks in Sülfeld and Uelzen with webcams.

The WSA launched the information service with webcams at the Lüneburg ship lift back in 2011. The locks in Uelzen and Sülfeld are now also equipped with cameras and provide an up-to-date view of the traffic situation in the harbours. The new service for shipping can be found on the Website of the Uelzen Waterways and Shipping Authority can be called up.

Around 50 - 60 barges transport goods of all kinds every day via the Elbe Lateral Canal and the eastern section of the Mittelland Canal. The images from the webcams are automatically updated every minute, so that users can constantly obtain an up-to-date picture of the traffic situation.
