BOOTE 11/25: How to prepare your boat engine for winter and avoid seasickness

Seasickness is one of the most unpleasant side effects of our leisure activities. While inland skippers are usually spared it, coastal and sea skippers are rarely immune. And yet it does not automatically affect everyone, and certainly not with the same severity. In a three-part series, the well-known circumnavigator and author Sönke Roever and doctor Stefanie Kamke report in detail on the background and possible remedies.

Anyone who works for the water police must also be seaworthy. We accompany water police officer and former sailor Enno Cassens and his colleagues on a patrol on the Flensburg Fjord in the border region between Germany and Denmark.
