Drinking water pumps in the test
Even pressure, low energy consumption and virtually silent: this is what a good water pump should be like. We tested six sensor models.

Yachts are growing and growing and with them the installations. Whereas in the past a single wet room with shower was considered a luxury, today even three times the number of washing facilities on board is no longer a rarity. The pump plays a decisive role in the quality of the water supply. The water jet should not pulsate as much as possible, should not turn into a trickle when the second tap is opened, the noise of the pump should not wake up the whole crew at night and the power required should not drain the battery more than necessary. Thanks to a pressure sensor, it is now possible to regulate the speed of the pump during operation.

Fiamma, Whale, Osculati, Jabsco, Johnson and Marco all took part in the test.
