With a comprehensive digital strategy, the DMYV is underlining its commitment, as a modern national association, to representing its members’ interests efficiently, transparently and in a service-oriented manner. In order to meet growing demands, the previous DMYV app was discontinued at the end of March and replaced by a newly developed programme. The first phase of the launch took place in May. The app, developed entirely from scratch in collaboration with Leipzig-based Appsfactory, is available in the Apps for iOS and Android download It is now available and requires reinstallation. The old app is no longer supported.
What can the new DMYV app do?
As well as a clean design and intuitive functionality, the new app offers direct access to the latest news from the association and the sailing community, as well as a customisable library of links for sailing trip information. Users also have access to important websites, event calendars and registration forms for coaching and instructor courses in the youth and sport sectors. An electronic logbook and the option to create a personal profile containing boat details, documents and similar information round off the features for now. Further functions will follow in the summer.
