The new TILE series (Tiny Interior Lifestyle Electronics) from Scanstrut offers compact USB sockets with minimal installation dimensions. Thanks to a footprint of just 40 x 40 millimetres, the devices can be integrated unobtrusively into almost any surface.

Elegant and functional

The TILE charging stations are available in two versions: with two USB-C ports or with one USB-A and one USB-C port. Both versions are available with a brushed stainless steel or matt black cover. The USB socket is easy to install using a 29-millimetre drill bit, making installation quick and uncomplicated. To meet the demanding conditions on board, Scanstrut has opted for a robust design for the TILE series. The electronics are coated and therefore protected against moisture.

Versatile USB socket

Despite their compact dimensions, the TILE charging stations offer good performance values. The USB socket provides up to 36 watts on 12-volt vehicle electrical systems and even up to 60 watts on 24-volt systems. This makes it ideal for charging the latest generation of laptops, tablets and smartphones. Support for common fast charging protocols such as Quick Charge (QC) and Power Delivery (PD) ensures optimum charging speeds. The low standby consumption of just 0.01 watts also protects the on-board batteries.
