The Trobolo WandaGo is a compact urine-diverting toilet that is particularly suitable for use on boats. With its dimensions of 314 x 341 x 382 mm, it fits into many storage compartments and its low weight of 4.2 kg makes it easy to transport and handle on board. The seat height of the on-board toilet can be adjusted between 306 mm and 436 mm so that it can be used comfortably by different people. As the toilet requires no water, chemicals or electricity, it is easy to use and environmentally friendly. The separation of liquids and solids enables easy disposal, while the SafeShell system reduces odours and ensures hygienic use. Thanks to its flexibility, the WandaGo is suitable both as the main toilet on smaller boats and as a supplement on larger ones.
Thetford Marine presents the Touch Eko, the latest generation of digital wall-mounted control panels for electrical sanitary systems, designed to minimise water and energy consumption. The optimised control systems enable maximum flushing efficiency and complete savings in water consumption. The user can set the amount of water manually and, thanks to Smart Flush Technology (SFT), the pump automatically activates and stops the flushing process based on the amount of water detected. With the Touch Eko, the manufacturer promises improved water efficiency of up to 35 per cent and five per cent lower power consumption. The minimalist and elegant design fulfils the expectations of even the most demanding customers with a high aesthetic level. The panel is made of tempered glass with LED backlighting. The Touch Eko is available in black or white glass and in individually selectable colours.
The Suunto Aqua is a waterproof open-ear headset with bone-sound technology for audio and training in the water. It weighs 35 g, is made of a titanium-silicone mix and offers up to ten hours of battery life (30 hours with a power bank). A quick charge of ten minutes is enough for three hours of use. It has 32 GB of memory for offline audio, Bluetooth 5.3, dual microphones with noise cancellation and head movement control. IP68-certified, it can withstand depths of up to 5 metres for two hours. Available in black and blue including charging cable, power bank and storage bag.
John Deere is launching the new JD14 and JD18 marine engines in 2026. The JD14 (13.6 litre displacement, 298-599 kW) is particularly suitable for passenger ships, workboats and leisure boats. The more powerful JD18 (18.0 litre displacement and 410-599 kW) was designed for fishing vessels and tugs. Both engines rely on a high-pressure common rail fuel system that optimises consumption and reduces operating costs. Thanks to extended maintenance intervals of up to 500 hours and two rear power take-offs (PTOs), they offer greater flexibility and efficiency in use. They are also compatible with biodiesel and fulfil environmental standards.
For 60 years, Sunbrella has been specialising in extra-durable textiles that are suitable for boats. In northern France, the company weaves colourful fabrics, some with graphic patterns. These are used to create seat cushions, cushions, biminis and other sun protection solutions - ideal for yachts, RIBs, sailing boats and catamarans. For around ten years, the focus has been on environmental protection; the "Greenovation" programme covers the entire production cycle, from the use of green electricity to correct water treatment. One example is the "Endless Stories" fabric collection, which consists of 50 per cent recycled fibres. Price per running metre.
Hella marine is expanding its range with new lighting solutions for the maritime sector. The new products are expected to be available worldwide from the second quarter of 2025.
Lenco wants to make steering more comfortable and also provide guests with a more pleasant driving experience. The leading brand in the development and manufacture of trim tabs, actuators and hatch lifters is part of the Navico Group and presents Lenco Pro Control Auto, a solution for automatic levelling. The system stabilises the tender by automatically counteracting the dynamic driving conditions, including the often annoying weight shifts. Pro Control Auto works with a refined, responsive algorithm that optimises control at any speed while reducing reaction time, allowing the steering to respond to sea conditions in near real time.
