Lxnav revolutionises maritime instrumentation with the new E360 chartplotter. The round 4-inch touch display combines modern functionality with retro-elegant design and is the only round chartplotter on the market. As an all-in-one dashboard, it integrates navigation charts, engine data and audio control in one compact device.

Lxnav is setting new standards in maritime instrumentation with the introduction of the E360. The innovative chartplotter with a round 4-inch touchscreen is not only a technical novelty, but also a real eye-catcher in the cockpit. It is the only round chart plotter on the market that stands out clearly from conventional rectangular displays and gives the instrument panel a touch of retro elegance. However, the E360 not only impresses with its unusual design, but above all with its functionality as an all-in-one dashboard for modern boats.

Comprehensive functionality in a compact format

The E360 combines a variety of functions in one compact device. It integrates engine data, depth measurements, fluid levels and battery status via NMEA2000. It also provides access to navigation charts and even allows you to control the audio system. This versatility makes the E360 a central information and control element in the cockpit that does far more than conventional displays. Boat owners benefit from the clear display of all important data on a single screen, which simplifies operation and improves the overview in the cockpit.

Intuitive operation and customisable interface

When developing the E360, the focus was on user-friendliness. The user interface is based on the intuitive handling of smartphones and tablets, so that users can find their way around immediately. A clearly organised menu enables quick access to shortcuts, settings and core functions. This ensures smooth navigation through the various functions, even in demanding conditions at sea. The customisability of the display also allows the presentation to be tailored to the user's individual needs and preferences.

Precise control with optional jog wheel

For situations where touch operation is not ideal, LXNAV offers an optional jog wheel. This enables simple control of the E360 by means of gentle rotation and a click mechanism. The jog wheel proves to be a valuable addition, especially in rough seas or when navigating from the helm.

Unique design as a differentiating feature

The round form factor of the E360 is more than just an aesthetic detail. It gives the cockpit a distinctive touch and sets the boat visually apart from others. LXNAV also offers the option of customising the design to suit individual ideas and brand identities. This customising option also makes the E360 interesting for boat manufacturers and owners who value a unique appearance. The chartplotter thus becomes a signature piece that emphasises the personality of the boat.

Editor Test & Technology

Ole Puls was born in Schleswig in 1999. He quickly swapped the football pitch for the Schlei and grew up sailing a wide variety of dinghies and tall ships. From his grandfather's self-built wooden opti and a Europe to a 49er and an X362 Sport, there was a lot to choose from. After leaving school, Puls decided to train as a boat builder at the high-tech shipyard Knierim Yachtbau in Kiel in 2016. He successfully completed his training in 2020 and stayed at the shipyard as a bachelor. In 2022, he decided not only to build boats, but also to test them. Since then, he has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag in the Test & Technology section of BOOTE magazine. The training he received and the eye for detail and quality of workmanship he acquired help him immensely today. Even though he is a regatta sailor with heart and soul, he feels right at home on motorboats and enjoys separating his professional and private lives and yet combining them. Because we all know one thing: there is simply no better place to be than on the water.
