Next-generation generator: 8.8 EDT D-NET is the name of the new diesel generator for on-board operation from Westerbeke.
At an engine speed of 1500 rpm and 230 V/50 Hz, the American-made unit delivers 8.8 kW. The three-cylinder diesel engine is cooled by a single-circuit water cooling system. The standard equipment includes a warning system that signals a lack of oil pressure, too high or too low a speed and too high a temperature. The generator can also be ordered with an optional NMEA 2000-compatible data bus cable.
