In the summer of 2026, Atlantic Marine will once again be organising the Atlantic Marine Days. The three-day test event is aimed at anyone interested in trying out various boat models under real-world conditions on the Baltic Sea. The organiser is providing a total of ten boats with different engine specifications.
Anyone who registers in advance via the website will be granted access to the ‘Fast Lane’. This pre-registration is intended to reduce waiting times at the venue. On the registration form, visitors can specify which models they would like to test and on which of the three days of the event they will be attending. The organisers also ask whether participants already have boating experience and which model they currently use.
The Open series comprises four models ranging in length from 4.90 to 7.50 metres. The smallest model, the OPEN 490, is fitted with a Honda BF 50. The OPEN 530 is fitted with a Honda BF 100. The OPEN 700 is powered by a Mercury F 200 V6. The largest model, the OPEN 750, is powered by a Mercury V8 F 250 Verado. The Open boats are characterised by their open decks without a cabin and are suitable for day trips.
The Sun Cruiser range comprises three models with lengths ranging from 6.30 to 7.30 metres. The Sun Cruiser 630 is powered by a Mercury F 175 V6. The Sun Cruiser 690 is powered by a Mercury V8 F 250 Verado. The top-of-the-range Sun Cruiser 730 is fitted with a Honda V8 BF 350. This series features sun loungers and more comfort features than the Open series.
The Day Cruiser 720 combines day-use features with a small cabin. Atlantic Marine fits this model with a Honda V6 BF 250. In addition to its own product range, the organiser is showcasing three Boston Whaler models. The 160 SUPER SPORT is fitted with a Mercury F 100. The 210 VANTAGE is powered by a Mercury V8 F 250. The largest Boston Whaler model, the 250 DAUNTLESS, is powered by a Mercury Verado V8 F 300.
The Atlantic Marine Days take place at the harbour in Heiligenhafen. The town is situated on the Baltic Sea coast in Schleswig-Holstein. Visitors can reach the Heiligenhafen-Mitte exit via the A1 motorway towards Fehmarn. From there, signs lead to the harbour area. Car parks are available in the immediate vicinity. Those travelling by train should alight at Oldenburg in Holstein station. From there, it is about a 15-minute journey by car or taxi. Alternatively, there are direct bus services to the harbour.
Alongside the boats, several industry partners will be showcasing their products. Mercury and Honda, as engine manufacturers, will be displaying their outboard motors. Garmin will be exhibiting navigation equipment. Ohlmeier will be presenting boat trailers. And we’ll also be there with our show van, ready to answer any questions and listen to your suggestions.
