On the third day of the Superyacht Cup, the wind picked up and came over the north-east of Mallorca. There were also surprises in the field.

Gusts of up to 20 knots shot across the bay of Palma in the morning. Locals expressed fears that the rising sea wind and the offshore air currents could cancel each other out. The result would have been a calm. However, the north-easterly wind continued, but gradually decreased and blew strongest under land.

In the Js, "Velsheda" made up for the botched second day and rounded the first mark in first place. On the other hand, "Topaz" had a bad day and finished in last place, both in terms of sailing and the final calculation. In general, the gaps were so large that the finishes of "Svea" in second place and "Ranger" behind them corresponded to the final result.

The Wally 80 "Rose" won in Class A and in Class B a single second of corrected time decided the victory. The 27 metre long "Savannah" triumphed for the second time in a row ahead of the much larger 46 metre long Ganesha.
