Boaters can drop anchor in Kiel for a free cinema visit on the first two weekends in September. The programme includes maritime films.

When the days get shorter, the blue hour begins with paraffin light and cosy music in the cockpit. Or how about a good film? Just like in a drive-in cinema, only on board your own watercraft, motorboat drivers and sailors can enjoy a film evening in Kiel. Moorings can be booked in a designated area of the fjord and the screen is on land. The sound can be received via a radio frequency. From Friday, 2 September, to Sunday, 4 September, and from Friday, 9 September, to Sunday, 11 September, a film will be shown daily at around 9 pm.
