The German Superyacht Conference (GSC) will be celebrating its first, albeit small, anniversary next year. BOOTE EXCLUSIV is organising the high-calibre industry event for the fifth time together with its partners - Pantaenius Yachtversicherungen, boot Düsseldorf, WolzNautic and akf Bank.
The Elbkuppel at the Hotel Hafen Hamburg has once again been booked for 25 February 2016, and the first speakers have already confirmed their attendance. BOOTE EXCLUSIV editor-in-chief and GSC initiator Marcus Krall will be welcoming design legend Chris Bangle as a special guest. The former chief designer at BMW has since moved into yacht design and is currently developing his first model for Sanlorenzo.
By popular demand, there will also be a panel discussion for the first time, the premiere of which is entitled "Decision-making processes in interior design". Alexander Höfling (Managing Director Sinnex), Kai Dittmar (Managing Director metrica), Felix Dölker (Partner Dölker+Voges) and Marcus Krall (Editor-in-Chief BOOTE EXCLUSIV) will be among those speaking on stage about this complex, multi-faceted topic.
Roberto Giorgi from Monaco will be the only speaker travelling to the event. He will explain what he has been working on for practically half his professional life - the ideal management of ships and yachts. His expertise is extraordinary: Giorgi is Executive Chairman of Fraser Yachts and also Honorary President of V.Ships, a branch of the V.Group, the world's largest technical ship manager.
Matthias Sablotny will be talking about another very topical subject. The Yachts & Passenger Ships Manager at Lloyd's Register explains the pitfalls of the Passenger Yacht Code. How can you fit out a yacht that is to be certified in this way? Which materials can be used and which cannot? Sablotny knows the answer to (almost) every question and will certainly contribute to the further education of almost all participants. Last but not least, the audience can look forward to Dr Kai Greve, Partner at TaylorWessing. With his somewhat provocatively formulated topic "The laughing tax authorities", Greve will summarise the tax problems for owners.
The number of participants is again limited to 150 guests. There will also be networking afterwards, as well as an after-work party at the BOOTE EXCLUSIV editorial office. Registration via the GSC website www.superyacht-conference.com
