The Spitfire embarks on its greatest journey

The Spitfire was developed for the Royal Air Force. It made history during the Battle of Britain. It is the extraordinary history of engineering that fascinates Steve Boultbee Brooks and Matt Jones. In August, the pair will attempt the first ever circumnavigation of the globe in a Spitfire, covering over 43,000 kilometres.

Like the Spitfire, IWC's watch line of the same name combines form and function to perfection. A highlight of the collection is the Pilot's Watch Timezoner Spitfire Edition "The Longest Flight" (Ref. IW395501). For the first time, it combines the patented Timezoner mechanism with a purely automatic manufacture movement and is limited to 250 pieces.
