Market news: Impressive annual figures from FraserPhoto: Fraser
The brokerage firm, which was sold by Azimut-Benetti to MarineMax in 2019, achieved its second-best result in the company's 75-year history in 2022. Owners are getting younger and younger.

Fraser brokered yachts worth 1.02 billion euros this year. This was the brokerage firm's second strongest year on the US West Coast since it was founded 75 years ago. Only 2021 had a higher turnover. The entire industry reported 597 yacht sales. Surprisingly, 40 per cent of Fraser customers had no previous contact with yachting, and the average age fell again to between 45 and 55. There are currently 577 yachts over 30 metres under construction worldwide - 18 percent of which have no owner. The most recent new builds include the 65 metre Royal Hakvoort project YN254 and the Sanlorenzo 73M Steel.

Fraser CEO Raphael Sauleau will reveal more impressive figures at the next German Superyacht Conference End of February in Hamburg.
