This year, the Italian shipyard moved the event, called Yachtmaster, online - and still allowed the 250 participants to be right up close.

A total of 125 Benetti captains logged on, joined by crew members, owner representatives and suppliers. The latter is to be understood literally. Benetti developed its own online platform with the programmers from LiveForum and entitled the 21st Yachtmaster edition "Phygital Edition". Physically in the sense of the live moderation by yachting Youtuber David Seal, who welcomed Benetti's dialogue partners in Livorno. There was also the opportunity to chat to other participants in a virtual coffee lounge or to contact Benetti suppliers via the exhibition area. The event, thematically entitled "Next Generation Yachts", was obviously digital thanks to the online playout and the video link-up with various experts.

In presentations, they explained the significance of the TIER III regulations for new builds and the retrofitting of compact SCR catalytic converters in formats of less than 500 gross tonnes. On the second day, the advantages and disadvantages of traditional, diesel-electric, hybrid and electric drive systems were discussed in detail. There were also workshops for stewardesses and a morning yoga session streamed from Luminosity. Benetti also gave viewers a live tour of the decks of the 108-metre hybrid format. Yachtmaster participants were also able to attend the christening ceremony of a 65-metre custom format in parts and listen to the speech by the President of the Azimut Benetti Group, Marco Valle.
