The world's largest equipment trade fair for the maritime sector should have taken place in Amsterdam from 17 to 19 November.
The organiser presented a hygiene concept for 2020 at an early stage and maintained until the end that it was COVID19-proof. The reasons for the cancellation are as follows: "In view of the uncertain global situation, however, we do not believe that we can guarantee the high-quality event with valuable personal contacts expected by METSTRADE in 2020."
The next major indoor trade fair is boot Düsseldorf, which will open its doors from 23 to 31 January.
