Leberkäse, potato salad and wheat beer - after an exhausting first day at the show, this was just the right refreshment for many guests. For the first time, BOOTE EXCLUSIV invited its customers, partners and friends to the "Oktoberfest" during the Monaco Yacht Show; and for the first time, the German superyacht association "Deutsche Yachten" was the second host. When it came to choosing the location for the traditional party, the decision was quickly made in advance. Host Gerhard Killian, who is popular with many captains, crews and owners, reserved his new bar "Gerhard's Cave" in Fontvieille harbour and ordered a food truck from his native Austria for the catering. Supported by numerous sponsors, BOOTE EXCLUSIV editor-in-chief Marcus Krall (in lederhosen) and "Deutsche Yachten" chairman Torsten Conradi welcomed around 250 guests from all sectors of the superyacht industry - Italian shipyards, German captains and suppliers, British designers. The fact that at least half of all guests were still present at the end of the party at 11.00 pm suggests that the event should be repeated next year.
