Fort Lauderdale likes to call itself the yachting capital of the world. It is questionable and rather unlikely that Monaco would subscribe to this. Nevertheless, Fort Lauderdale will live up to its self-appointed role, at least from 1 to 5 November: over 1500 boats and yachts will be moored at the International Boat Show. Around 100,000 visitors are expected, who will be able to find out about the latest formats from shipyards from all over the world at seven exhibition locations. Highlights for BOOTE EXCLUSIV readers include the 78 metre long "TV" from Lürssen (berth: Pier 66), the 72.50 metre long explorer "Cloudbreak" from Abeking & Rasmussen (berth: Superyacht Life, Slip 3) and the 66.25 metre long "Vanish" from Feadship (berth: Superyacht Life, Slip 1). Of course, almost all European brands that mainly produce semi-custom yachts will also be on site. Shipyards such as Horizon, Christensen, Westport and Hatteras as well as the major American brokerage houses will also be showcasing their portfolios.
The fair is open daily from 10 am to 7 pm. Admission costs 46.50 US dollars on the first day and 29 US dollars on the following days.
