From 1 to 5 May, three yacht shows will take place in Mallorca. While the Palma Boat Show, taking place for the 30th time, and the Palma Superyacht Brokerage & Charter Show, initiated for the first time, have joined forces in Palma de Mallorca, the annual Sunseeker Open Days will attract yacht enthusiasts to Port Adriano from 3 to 5 May.

The harbour of Palma de Mallorca has a lot to offer at the beginning of May. While a large number of exhibitors showcase new yachts, boats, tenders and maritime accessories at the Palma Boat Show, which is taking place for the 30th time, six large superyacht brokers present 60 impressive large formats that are either for sale or can be chartered right next door on the harbour promenade known as the Paseo Maritimo.

If you're looking for a change from Palma de Mallorca, Port Adriano, a little further south, is the place to be from 3 to 5 May. The annual "Sunseeker Open Days" will take place here from 3 to 5 May. Customers and interested parties are cordially invited to take a look at the largest current Sunseeker fleet in the Mediterranean and find out about the extensive range of services on offer.

Sunseeker Mallorca will be presenting a wide selection of current Sunseeker motor yachts, including the new Sunseeker San Remo, which celebrated its world premiere at boot Düsseldorf in January 2013 and will be presented for the first time in Mallorca in May. The sleek sports cruiser impresses with above-average equipment and offers pure sailing pleasure thanks to its automatic hardtop, lowerable bathing platform and tender garage. The Manhattan 73 and a selection of top used yachts will also be on display.

The four sports cars from automobile manufacturer Wiesmann, which will be presented in front of the Sunseeker office and available to guests for exclusive test drives, guarantee plenty of driving fun. The world premiere of the Wiesmann Roadster MF5 & MF4S "Sunseeker Limited Edition" - two hand-built, white-painted sports cars with exclusively branded Sunseeker interiors and a combined 555 hp (MF5) and 420 hp (MF4S) - will attract particular attention. Only ten of the "Sunseeker Limited Edition" roadsters will be built. The co-operation with Wiesmann is already entering its third round and culminates in the limited edition of the Sunseeker Roadster.

The BOOTE EXCLUSIV team wishes you lots of fun on Mallorca.

Martin Hager

Editor in Chief YACHT

Martin Hager is editor-in-chief of the titles YACHT and BOOTE EXCLUSIV and has been working for Delius Klasing Verlag for 20 years. He was born in Heidelberg in 1978 and started sailing at the age of six, in an Opti of course. This was soon followed by 420s, Sprinta Sport and 470s, which he also sailed on the regatta course with his brother. His parents regularly took him on charter trips through the Greek and Balearic Islands. Even at a young age, it was clear to him that he wanted to turn his passion for water sports into a career. After graduating from high school and completing an internship at the Rathje boatbuilding company in Kiel, it was clear that he did not want to become a classic boatbuilder. Instead, he successfully studied shipbuilding and marine engineering in the Schleswig-Holstein state capital and focused on yacht design wherever he could. His diploma thesis dealt with the “Testing of a new speed prediction method for sailing yachts”. In 2004, the superyacht magazine BOOTE EXCLUSIV was looking for an editor with technical and nautical background knowledge, a position that was perfect for Martin Hager. The application was successful and a two-year traineeship was arranged. After twelve years as an editor, the editorial team changed and he took over responsibility for BOOTE EXCLUSIV as editor-in-chief in 2017. After long-time YACHT editor-in-chief Jochen Rieker moved to the role of publisher, Martin Hager also took over the position of editor-in-chief of Europe's largest sailing magazine YACHT, which is celebrating its 120th anniversary this year, at the beginning of 2023. When he's not working on topics for the two water sports titles, Martin Hager likes to go out on the water himself - preferably with kite and wingfoil equipment or on a little after-work trip across the Alster.
