Anyone planning a charter cruise should not only consider the right area and the right yacht: Suitable charter insurance is highly recommended, because even the best time of the year is not entirely free of risks. Skipper's liability insurance and travel cancellation insurance are always advisable. Depending on the planned yacht charter, foreign travel health insurance or passenger accident insurance may also be useful. Charter deposit insurance can also be used to cover deposit amounts.
On Wednesday evening from 7.30 pm, the BOOTE and YACHT webinar will be all about "charter insurance".
In the webinar, Dirk Hilcken, Sales Coordinator at Pantaenius Yacht Insurance, explains what insurance cover is available for charter crews. He will also explain what they cost and which parts of the small print you should definitely look out for. Webinar participants will also have the opportunity to put questions directly to the experts.
