Everything you want

What happens when the Formula 1 tyre manufacturer, a genuine RIB specialist and a renowned yacht designer join forces? The Pirelli 42 built by TecnoRib is the first model of the RIB professionals' walkaround line to be modified in collaboration with Ocke Mannerfelt's Swedish design team. Performance, stability, plenty of space and comfort were on the must-have list. No sooner said than done.

The buyer has a free choice of motorisation: Outboard or inboard with sterndrive, petrol or diesel. In any case, the engines installed in the twin pack are powerful. The cockpit offers the desired freedom of movement. Sofas, sun loungers, the fully equipped cockpit galley behind the steering console, bathing platform, hardtop, bimini top and the cabin with bathroom and comfortable V-berth offer the desired comfort. Party Time

Once upon a time: the days when British yacht builders cultivated the understatement typical of their country are long gone. Sunseeker has created a new type of boat, the "open-top day boat", and wants to (and can) stand out with it. The creative minds from the island have dispensed with the flybridge and wheelhouse and instead have placed the XXL sunbed and the sofas in the stern on the same level as the open steering position and the wet bar, which is equipped with a waterproof TV. The Seabobs parked in the stern garage and the "sun parlour" on the foredeck equipped with comfortable sun loungers are also suitable for parties. The space below deck is shared by the owner's suite, VIP cabin, two bathrooms, saloon and galley. In the engine room is Volvo Penta's electronically controlled IPS 950 (2 x 725 hp), which makes the Superhawk 38 knots fast and very easy to manoeuvre. Info: www.sunseeker.com

Election result

Make a wish: The S390 combines excellent leisure fun with sporty dynamics, says Andrea Zambonini. And Sealine's product manager should know. The dynamics - a top speed of 34 knots - can be found in the hull shape and in the engine compartment, which houses two turbocharged diesel engines (2 x 320 or 2 x 380 hp) equipped with Duoprop Z-drives. Below deck, a variable bulkhead offers a choice of four different layouts with or without a galley. There is an owner's suite and guest cabin in each case. With an awning and hardtop, the customer can design the cockpit to be completely open. You can barbecue on the bathing platform and cook with gas or electric. Info: www.sealine.com

The small revolution

The perfect combination: Are you one of those people who prioritise performance and sportiness when buying a boat, but don't want to compromise on comfort and quality of life? Then perhaps you should take a closer look here. For Lomac, the foredeck with its XXL sunbed is a small revolution. Designed for weekend trips and short "cruises", the 12.5 Cruiser combines engine power (2 x 450 or 3 x 300 hp) with the comfort of a cabin that has grown with the deck and is equipped with a double bed and a bathroom. Three men in one boat

All good things come in fours: the Fiart P54, designed by Stefano Pastrovich, promises aesthetics, luxury, space and quality of life. "The origin of a new project, writes Fiart CEO Giancarlo di Luggo in the official press release, is always a stimulating moment." General Manager Simone Lorenzano lets us know in the same place that this year is a very important one for the company. The male trio has opted for a deck layout that is dominated by a saloon with helm station and a cockpit in a double pack. It can be surmised that the designer was inspired by a bowrider concept. Below deck, two layout versions compete for the favour of the owner, who can choose between two large owner's suites and a design with three cabins. Info: www.fiart.com

Simply enjoy

The usual suspects: The Pearl 72's fine suit comes from Bill Dixon's bespoke tailoring. The lines are as elegant as ever, just a little slimmer and more streamlined. The "inner workings" are characterised by the motto "Nomen est omen". In other words, Kelly Hoppen's Indulgence interior is a real treat. Two owner's suites with separate entrances, two guest cabins, the saloon, in which the galley is located behind the helm and the "dining area" opposite, a bow cockpit and the fly are undoubtedly something for connoisseurs. Equipped with sofas, sun loungers and a wet bar, the Beletage offers not only comfort but also the joy of sailing, which two 1400 or 1600 hp diesel engines deliver not only at top speeds of 32 knots. Turn one into two

Double life: Cuddy Cabin and Walkaround. If you look for similarities between the new models, the hull shape designed for performance and comfort, the matching design of the deck shapes and the motorisation are at the top of the list. The powerful (max. 300 hp) outboard engines emphasise the sporty character of the Cap Camarat 7.5 Series 3. Sporty means that the 300 hp engine promises the fun of water skiing and wakeboarding and a top speed of 40 kn plus. In terms of comfort, the highlights are the bow cockpit (WA version), sunbed (CC version), the cabin with double bed, hardtop, bimini and the galley in the aft cockpit. Info: www.jeanneau.com
