With deckhouse! A Wally! Opinions are also divided in the editorial team: comments on the exterior of the 50-metre-long "Better Place" range from - to put it mildly - "it takes getting used to" to "fantastic". The largest Wally to date, which is also the world's longest carbon-slipper, polarises the yachting scene.
It is not what we are used to from Luca Bassani. Not slim, flat and reduced to the bare essentials, but voluminous or even a little bulky. The new way for Wally? Well, certainly one of them. The "Better Place" owner we met on his flybridge certainly seemed very satisfied. And the editorial styling critics were more reserved when we inspected the futuristic interior with Gillian Brown.
Speaking of interiors: in addition to "Better Place", this issue also contains other magnificent examples of maritime interior design: the uniform, timeless look by Maja von Dewitz for "Nassima", the glamorous chic by Bannenberg & Rowell for Princess Yachts or the spacious decks in a brown-grey-silver mix by Reymond Langton for "Mogambo". And not forgetting Birgit Schnaase, who designed Horizon's flagship and took BOOTE EXCLUSIV on her very first tour on board.
