News: BOOTE, DMYV and SBV agree on co-operation
From the upcoming issue 05/2024, the DMYV and the SBV will inform our readers and their members up to four times a year on several special pages, the DMYV News
BOOTE magazine will become the official newsletter of the German Motor Yacht Association (DMYV) and the Sport Boat Association in the DMYV (SBV). This was agreed by the DMYV Executive Committee, the SBV Board and the management of Delius Klasing Verlag. From the upcoming issue 05/2024, which will be available in magazine stores and as a digital online edition on 16 April 2024, the DMYV and the SBV will inform our readers and association members up to four times a year in the DMYV News on several special pages.

In addition to the upcoming issue 05/2024, two more issues with exclusive DMYV news in the third and fourth quarter are planned for the current year 2024; from 2025, the DMYV news will then appear quarterly in our magazine. Further topics from the DMYV and the SBV are planned as part of the regular editorial reporting.

The issues with the DMYV News will also be available for reading in the clubhouses of the more than 460 clubs and associations organised in the DMYV, as well as in around 230 DMYV-recognised training centres. In addition, the approximately 5000 members of the SBV have the opportunity to obtain the magazine at exclusive advantageous conditions as part of their SBV membership.

Special conditions for SBV members

SBV members now have the opportunity to receive all twelve issues of BOOTE magazine as a digital edition at no additional cost per year, or to receive the four annual issues with the DMYV News as a printed edition, also free of charge, and the other issues as a printed copy at attractive special conditions. As part of the subscription, SBV members also benefit from further special conditions from the publisher on its products and offers.

BOOTE editor-in-chief Torsten Moench: "We welcome all members of the DMYV clubs as readers and are delighted to have them on board! The DMYV and the SBV are two important pillars in motorised water sports that will contribute exciting and current topics. As one of the leading European boating magazines, we consider it an honour to officially act as the mouthpiece of the DMYV as the federal association for motorised water sports and the SBV as the largest association in the DMYV and a large community of boaters. My colleagues on the BOOTE team and I are looking forward to working together and a lively exchange."

Frank Dettmering, President of the German Motor Yacht Association sees the advantages: "We are very pleased about this new cooperation with Europe's largest recreational boating magazine with a wide reach beyond the boating scene and a great reputation. For decades, the name BOOTE has stood for a high level of expertise in all aspects of motorised water sports and a wide range of topics. The collaboration will help to promote the important work of the DMYV as a representative body and ideal home base for motorised water sports enthusiasts and boaters, both within the association and to the outside world and public awareness."

Sven Greif, first chairman of the Recreational Craft Association emphasises: "With the offer from Delius Klasing Verlag as part of this cooperation, membership of the SBV has great added value. We can offer our members an information advantage with regard to the wide range of boating topics, which makes it even more worthwhile to share your passion as a boater and join the SBV."
