BOOTE and YACHT are jointly looking for an editorial reinforcement for print and online at the Hamburg location

At the editorial office in Hamburg The editorial teams of the magazines YACHT, BOOTE, SURF, SUP, WING and BOOTE-EXKLUSIV work together. Websites, digital editions, YouTube videos, newsletters, apps, books and events round off the publisher's offering for water sports enthusiasts.

For our water sports editors BOATS and YACHT we are looking for full-time to the as soon as possible one Editorial trainee print and online m/f/d.

These tasks await you:

  • a two-year magazine traineeship in which you will learn about and master all aspects of journalistic work
  • the most exciting thematic environment you can imagine
  • plenty of feedback and guidance from professionals who have been working as page makers for many years with the same passion as you
  • Training and further education at renowned journalistic training institutes

What you bring with you:

  • Ideally, a degree in communications or comparable knowledge from a qualified training programme
  • Affinity for technical topics
  • Enthusiasm for sailing and boating with all its facets
  • You already have several years of experience on boats, are not easily dissuaded from the course and have the necessary boating licences (SBF Binnen/See)
  • High motivation to work as a journalist
  • Familiarity with social networks, enjoy communicating at eye level, desire to take your readers and followers on the water with you
  • Good knowledge of English
