mo-jet: The water jet module is used with body ...
The innovative Mo-jet water jet module consists of four components and offers up to 40 minutes of driving and diving fun thanks to its powerful electric motor and rechargeable batteries

Mo-jet is the name of a water jet module that consists of four components: The rear section, jet drive train with a 14.7 kilowatt electric motor and two 8.5-kilogram batteries. Thanks to liquid cooling, a pair of batteries should provide up to 40 minutes of driving and diving fun and be fully charged within 45 minutes using two household sockets.

Diving and surfing with the Mo-jet

The base is combined with three different bow shapes: for diving and surfing while standing as well as lying flat on the stomach or knees at up to 30 knots. There is even a RIB add-on in the works, into which mo-jet will be integrated to provide 24 knots. Behind the Norderstedt-based company are Benjamin Köhnsen, ex-investment banker and co-founder of Lampuga, and Markus Zey, grandson of Soichiro Honda, founder of the global company of the same name.

Zey recently applied for the seventh patent for mo-jet, a low-cost adapter that connects all types of inflatable boats to the modular drive unit. The surf version of mo-jet is listed for 10,600 euros including emergency stop, tether and remote control with throttle.
